Text to Video
Describe one subject, a clear action and how the camera moves.
ByteDance Seedance / VIDEO MODEL
Create a shot from text or a first frame with an optional ending frame.

Your generated video will appear here.
Write a scene, animate an authorized image, or guide a new scene with a reference video when this model supports it. Review the native settings and full credit quote before submitting.
Describe one subject, a clear action and how the camera moves.
Use a supported image role, then describe the motion after the starting frame.
Choose a compatible model for your reference clip. Native video seconds are included in the quote.
MEET SEEDANCE 1.0 PRO QUALITY
Seedance 1.0 Pro Quality supports text to video and image to video with an opening frame and an optional ending frame in this workspace. Choose from two-to-twelve-second durations and requested 480p, 720p or 1080p output. It offers a frame-based way to plan how a short scene develops.
The practical difference from Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast here is the additional endpoint frame and its separate credit rates. A pair of images can define a reveal or a change in composition; it is not a collection of arbitrary style references. Use the prompt to explain the intermediate movement and assess whether the full transition remains suitable.
THE POSSIBILITIES
Choose the input that fits your idea, then shape the motion. Clips below are local sample footage for the layout.
Start with compatible images of the same subject or setting. Let the second picture define the ending position, then describe how the camera and subject should move between them. Review the middle of the clip for unexpected changes even if both endpoint compositions look useful.
The last frame is optional; one opening frame is enough to begin an image-to-video request.

Write one scene with a clear action and a camera position. A short gesture and a gradual reveal need different amounts of time, so choose a supported duration deliberately. The available two-to-twelve-second range should fit the shot, rather than encourage adding unrelated events to fill every second.
The configured credit rate is multiplied by output duration, plus the per-request content-check allowance.

Seed and camera-fixed options help you describe the request you are comparing. Keep camera motion in the prompt aligned with those settings. Select an output size, then inspect identity, object structure and movement in a completed take; a larger request does not guarantee that all fine details remain unchanged.
This configured route has no separate generated-audio or reference-video input control.

FROM IDEA TO A TAKE
A clear starting point, a focused brief and settings you can review before submitting.
Open Seedance 1.0 Pro Quality in the generator above. Choose Text to video for a written scene or Image to video when you have an opening composition.
Write the subject, action, camera direction and lighting. In image mode, add a first frame and an optional compatible last frame.
Choose 480p or 720p or 1080p output. Pick a supported duration from 2 to 12 seconds. Set the aspect ratio for the destination. Review the estimate after changing a setting or adding a reference clip.
When generation is enabled, submit after reviewing the brief and content checks. Track the request in Recent takes. Review the full clip for subject details, continuity and sound, then download a useful result or change one part of the brief for the next take.
A STARTING POINT, NOT A SCRIPT
Load a brief with supported settings in the full workspace. Review it and add your own images or references where required.
Use the uploaded first frame as the close composition and the last frame as the wider ending. Move backward slowly in one continuous shot, preserving the subject's face, clothes and the arrangement of the room. Keep gestures subtle and finish with a steady view. No new objects or scene cuts.
Use compatible endpoints; this prompt does not require extra reference media.
A person stands beside a softly lit window in a quiet interior. The person turns toward the camera while the room stays still. A stationary medium composition, natural proportions, warm light and gentle movement. Hold the final pose briefly, with no text or changes of location.
Keep the advanced camera option consistent with the stationary composition.
PUT THE SHOT TO WORK
Start with the job the clip needs to do. Keep final editing and a full review in your workflow.
Use an opening detail and a wider ending composition. Explain the camera path and keep subject proportions compatible in both input images.
Prepare endpoints with the same room and subject, then describe the change in light. Review continuity rather than assuming any two images will connect naturally.
Choose a simple action with a fixed or moving camera. Use the duration and size settings to compare a clearly documented revision.
BEFORE YOUR NEXT TAKE
Endpoint guidance is not a guarantee of a seamless bridge. Watch for face, clothing, object and background changes during the movement. Reject a transition that only looks convincing in the opening or closing thumbnail.
An unrelated second portrait should not be used as an ending frame merely to supply more identity information. For multiple identity or style images, use a supported reference-image route such as Seedance 2.0 instead.
THE SETUP
Every model has its own inputs and credit rules. Changing a setting refreshes your quote.

FIXED CREDIT RULES
A 20-credit content-check allowance is included once per request. Match the rate below to your chosen output size.

Inputs, output settings and credit rules for this workspace.
Text to video is supported: describe a scene and its movement. First frame + optional last frame are supported in image mode. There is no separate collection of appearance-reference images on this route.
480p, 720p, 1080p output is offered with durations from 2 to 12 seconds. The controls above use these same settings. A resolution selection describes the requested output and does not guarantee native detail or readable small text.
This configured route does not expose video or audio reference uploads. Put movement and sound directions in the prompt where supported. Compare Seedance 2.0 if your scene needs those reference types.
The credit table below the controls section lists this model's fixed rates for every supported output size. Some routes charge per request and others by duration. A content-check allowance is included once. Use Review credit estimate in the generator for the actual settings and uploaded reference duration before submitting.
This workspace does not expose a generated-audio switch for this route. Plan to add the final voice recording, effects or music in your editing workflow rather than depending on a soundtrack control that is not offered.
Prompts and image references are checked before submission. A rejection or unavailable check stops submission. These checks do not audit reference-video frames or audio tracks. Confirmed failed tasks release reserved credits once; an uncertain submission remains under review to avoid duplicate requests.
The current clips are local sample footage used to demonstrate the layout. They are not outputs from the displayed prompts, model benchmarks or evidence of a specific model's quality. Example prompts are editable starting points; image and reference examples require your own uploads.
